Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease and Exhibition Discussion

Submitted by Beth Hinshaw

Dr. Justin Smith, Kansas Department of Agriculture, Animal Health Commissioner; and Dr. Sara McReynolds, Kansas Assistant Animal Health Commissioner; will be on a Zoom Webinar/Call on Monday, June 8, at 3 p.m. to discuss the Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease (RHDV2) and the guidance piece provided last week. Extension staff are invited to attend and if you would like to invite your 4-H Rabbit Fair Superintendent, they would be welcome.

That Zoom link for this meeting was sent over the K-State Research and Extension Local Unit Listserv.

After the disease discussion we will take time to hear about alternative show ideas. If your fair has made an alternative plan for 2020, please let me know as I would like for you to share those to help others.
