dry-soilWe should be thinking seriously about planting wheat anytime now, but you can see our field doesn’t look too good. It hasn’t rained in a long time, so the soil is too dry to plant and the surface is still very rough.


dry-soil2If we look closer at the soil surface you can see just how rough and dry the soil really is. If we get a rain we will have to use a field cultivator at least one more time before we can plant. We’ll just have to wait for rain.
