general-viewHere’s our field again. It looks okay, but a little dreary today.

 

row-picOur seedlings aren’t growing very quickly now because it is getting cooler these days. They appear to have three leaves. Let’s look closer.

 
three-leaf-with-tiller-closeupWell, well, our little tiller finally decided to peak out. You can see it between the first (bent) leaf on the lower left and the main stem. By this time of year each plant should have several tillers, but I have to remember we planted the wheat so late.
