general-viewThe snow’s gone from our field. It’s really hard to tell if we still have any wheat left, isn’t it? Let’s compare our field to what it looked like last year.


row-viewPlants in the row look surprisedly well, don’t you think? The tips are burned but you can still see green at the base of the leaves. In case you were worried, I think they are going to make it.


4leaf-with-2tillers2Our little plant looks pretty good and I think it has a second tiller. That’s amazing. The other plants from the previous picture don’t have as many tillers. Why do you suppose that’s so? Well, by thinning out the other plants around this plant, that gave it more room and the plant is compensating for the thin stand by producing more tillers.
