I didn’t know wheat was planted in this field, I would say there’s
nothing there. Don’t you agree? Let’s look closer.

Well,
you can see plants in the row and they seem to be surviving.

Our single plant
just keeps on plugging away. Notice the newest leaf is just
a little longer than it was last week. The older leaves have been
burned by the cold weather. Look at the soil surface around the
plant. The soil particles look like granular sugar. If we had a
strong wind, what do suppose might happen? I think we might have
some wind erosion. That’s to say the wind would blow the soil
particles away. |
