general-viewWe’ve still got snow hanging around. Last week it really snowed and this is what’s left (It was so bad last week I didn’t take any pictures).


row-closeupOur wheat in the row is still being protected by a strip of snow. The ridges don’t have any snow left on them, probably because the wind blew it away or maybe the soil in the ridges are a little warmer. There’s only snow down in the rows where there’s more protection.


1stplantOur single plant is covered with ice and the ground is certainly soggy. Sometimes when plants are covered with ice for an extended period of time they can die. We’ll have to wait until next week to see what happens!
