 Our
field is starting to look like a wheat field in early spring now.

 These
plants are showing upright growth and the stem appears to be
elongating. There appears to be a lot of variation in plant
development– some plants are doing well and others aren’t
thriving very well.
|
 After
last week I wanted to see if the roots were doing any better. And
by looking at this plant’s roots I would say we’re seeing some
improvement in root development. Notice the stems are elongating
(that’s what is suppose to happen this time of year).

 Our
single plant is still producing tillers and some of the oldest
tillers are trying to grow upright (like the plants behind). |
