 Another week has gone by and our field looks good and the plants
continue to grow.
 This plant is at the V6 stage. It has six true leaves and the seventh
leaf is almost ready to be counted. Let's look closer at the whorl.
 You can easily see three more leaves and then there's a cluster of
leaves. If this growing point is damaged for some reason, the plant
will produce branches and the branches will produce multiple heads making it
appear to be a wild type. |
