Seed Shattering

Return to: Oct 2

shatteringThis is an example of a pod splitting open and the seed falling to the ground. This is not a severe case of shattering, because very few pods have split open. The pods become very brittle and if they are jarred by the wind or if you bump them, they will shatter.
