 We've
had hot and windy weather this past week (and it's really windy
today) and our field continues to develop. Let's look closer at
our row that we've marked.

 You
can see the plants have added some new leaves. The plants appear
to be doing fine.

 Our
plant has added the second trifoliolate leaf. The cotyledon leaves
have dropped off, but you can still see cotyledons on other
plants. The unifoliolate leaves are still attached, but they will
eventually drop off too. This plant is in stage V2 (two fully
opened leaves). (V means the plant is in the vegetative stages and
the number represents how many leaves are unfolded.)
