It's over 100 today and that's eight days in a row. On the 22nd it was 107.
Now, that's hot! Surprisingly, our field still appears to be in good shape.
But it's when you look at individual plants that you realize they aren't
"setting" pods (Setting pods is a farmer term that means pods are forming on
the plant). Obviously, that's not good.

Looking down from above you can see our first plant is still producing lots of
flowers, but not many pods. The plants will continue to flower for several more
weeks. Flowering will continue as the plant grows, but flowering will slow down
and eventually stop in the lower, older areas of the plant.
