Man, it's hot. It's 107 F today. Here's our field. The wind is causing the underside
of the leaves to be more exposed. That's the reason the leaves appear to have a
silverish tinge.
It didn't take too long for the soil to dry again. You can't even tell it sprinkled
earlier in the week.
Here’s our first plant. I think you can start to see some pods forming. But with this
heat I doubt seriously we will have many pods on our plants and our yields will be lower
than we had hoped for. But who knows, it might start raining one of these days and we’ll
have more pods than we know what to do with!
Our second plant has a few more pods on it. We could use some cooler days and a little more
rain.
