The pesticide safety program is responsible for providing educational resources and  training for 15,370 private pesticide applicators and 5,844 commercial applicators in the state of Kansas. Training is aimed at protecting human health and the environment by providing information on laws and regulations, labels, human health, and environmental concerns.
