K-State Research and Extension and K-State's College of Agriculture have begun a strategic planning process to match the university's Vision 2025, set forth by President Kirk Schulz
During the school year 2012-13, K-State Research and Extension and the College of Agriculture worked through a steering committee and seven subcommittees to develop our 2025 Strategic Plan. The work was facilitated by the Office of Educational Innovation and Evaluation with assistance from Lynn Carlin in the Provost's office.
Now that the 2025 Strategic Plan has been developed and published for K-State Research and Extension and the College of Agriculture, the various departments and units are working during 2013 to develop their specific alignment plans.
The departmental and unit alignment plans are to be done by December of 2013. The plans will all be
reviewed and the 2025 KSRE/COA Strategic Plan will be tweaked with input from the various departmental/unit plans.
In the winter of 2014, the final 2025 strategic plans will all be published and posted to the website.
