Agriculture Today Radio Program Wednesday, August 22


K-State agronomist Jim Shroyer discusses two drought-related topics:
adjustments that winter wheat producers should consider if dry soil
conditions persist at planting time, and harvesting late growth of
drought-stressed alfalfa

K-State beef veterinarian Larry Hollis returns with further thoughts
on managing against bovine respiratory disease in beef calves:
today, he tells of two new anti-bacterial BRD treatment products that
producers can turn to, on a prescription basis through their
veterinarian

And K-State's Gus van der Hoeven presents "Stop, Look and Listen",
his weekly commentary on rural Kansas

Agriculture Today is broadcast each weekday morning at 10:00 on KFRM
Radio, Clay Center (550 AM) and KLOE Radio, Goodland (730 AM), which
collectively reach 75 counties in Kansas, parts of southern Nebraska,
eastern Colorado and northern Oklahoma...the broadcast can also be
