An extended look at the grain market news and trends from K-State
agricultural economist Dan O'Brien, who is presenting his detailed
outlook on the grain trades at the K-State Risk and Profit Conference
today: he shares the main points from that outlook, and discusses
the issue of the Renewable Fuels Standard, and the likely impact on
corn prices should that standard be waived
From the pesticide and fertilizer program at the Kansas Department of
Agriculture, Marie Blankenship talks about employing integrated pest
management in the farm home and outbuildings, as the weather turns
cooler and pests attempt to migrate indoors
And state climatologist Mary Knapp of K-State offers the latest on
Kansas agricultural weather

Radio, Clay Center (550 AM) and KLOE Radio, Goodland (730 AM), which
collectively reach 75 counties in Kansas, parts of southern Nebraska,
