Agriculture Today Radio Program Friday, July 27


K-State agricultural economist Dan O'Brien responds to the idea of
cutting back on the renewable fuels standard for ethanol in the wake
of the expected short corn crop, as part of this week's analysis of
the grain markets

The emergency management coordinator for the Kansas Department of
Agriculture, Sandy Johnson, has an update on the food and agriculture
incident plan that has been drafted as a blueprint for responding to
any forthcoming food system emergencies in the state

And state climatologist Mary Knapp of K-State has the latest drought
status report, as she takes up Kansas agricultural weather

Agriculture Today is broadcast each weekday morning at 10:00 on KFRM
Radio, Clay Center (550 AM) and KLOE Radio, Goodland (730 AM), which
collectively reach 75 counties in Kansas, parts of southern Nebraska,
eastern Colorado and northern Oklahoma...the broadcast can also be
