K-State agronomist Jane Lingenfelser goes over the highlights from
the 2012 Kansas Wheat Variety Performance Test, which is now
available to wheat growers for reviewing ahead of fall planting: she
talks of the varieties which stood out in the field trials this year,
at each of the test sites scattered throughout Kansas
Agricultural law specialist Roger McEowen goes over two recent court
decisions: a ruling on a pesticide application dispute where the
pesticide user followed all of the state application regulations to
the letter; and a case which tested the extent of the "home rule"
provision in matters of local versus state regulations
And K-State's Gus van der Hoeven presents "Stop, Look and Listen",
his weekly commentary on rural Kansas
