thoughts on growing a cover crop on wheat acreage after harvest,
based on many years of K-State field research: she talks about soil-
building capacity of certain cover crops, and what they do for water
infiltration, reducing soil compaction and improving organic matter
content
K-State agricultural engineer Joe Harner discusses heat abatement in
the dairy herd during these abusively hot days: how to identify
severe heat stress in the dairy cow, and what to troubleshoot for in
the herd cooling system
And K-State's Gus van der Hoeven presents "Stop, Look and Listen",
his weekly commentary on rural Kansas

Radio, Clay Center (550 AM) and KLOE Radio, Goodland (730 AM), which
collectively reach 75 counties in Kansas, parts of southern Nebraska,
