When was the last
time you tested the water in your well?
According to
K-State research, only 40 percent of private wells meet safe drinking
water standards used for public systems. EPA reports about 15 percent
of Americans have their own source of drinking water and they should
have it tested yearly for coliform bacteria, nitrates and other
contaminants.
