ServSafe in Kansas      

ServSafe An estimated 75 million Americans become sick each year from foodborne illness.  ServSafe, a national certification program designed to teach safe handling practices to foodservice employees, is available in 35 Kansas counties.  In 2006, 650 employees and nearly 300 foodservice managers received ServSafe training from K-State Research and Extension in partnership with the Kansas Restaurant and Hospitality Association.

Train-the-Trainer for Extension Professionals/ KS Teachers      

The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) requires all instructors/presenters for the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification training to be certified and registered by NRAEF. If you have not taken the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Examination within the past five years, this opportunity is for you to become certified or to recertify.
