From a distance, rust-infected turf has a dull yellowgreen
to light brown cast. Rust symptoms may start to appear in mid-summer in Kansas especially on susceptible cultivars of Kentucky bluegrass, tall fescue, perennial ryegrass, and zoysiagrass.
