Developed an interactive CD designed to inform Kansans about stream water issues and agricultural best management practices.


Natural Resources Leadership Youth Camp of Kansas
Established an ongoing natural resources leadership summer camp for youth statewide, began in 2004 at Rock Springs 4-H Ranch.


Olathe Water Festival
Held a water festival in cooperation with the City of Olathe and many other local agencies. Over 1,000 people attended the September 2002 celebration. The community was pleased with the excitement generated and has adopted the event as an annual celebration.


Soil Amendment Pilot Project for Lake Afton Watershed
Reduced eutrophication of Lake Afton by demonstrating that liming soils to neutral pH levels decreases nutrient loss through runoff. A cooperative effort with many local entities.
