Paddling Kansas: A Guide to Paddling Kansas Streams

ALP>Paddling KansasTeam Members:

Brian Loving, Julie MacLachlan, Dave Murphy, Mary Lou Ponder

Objective:

To enable more people to access Kansas streams by canoe or kayak, thereby gaining appreciation of the natural resource.

Researched and written by Dave Murphy, the book details access points, stream gradients, float times and distance estimates, shuttle directions, notes for anglers and sources of information on stream flow, camping, and canoe rental. Just enough description and narrative is offered to give paddlers an idea of what to expect on their own adventures. Extensive appendix entries offer web site listings for helpful resources. Other team members collaborated by providing maps, organizing materials, and handling paperwork.
