KELP for Credit
 
 
Dr. Lauri Baker an assistant professor in agricultural and environmental communications will supervise the students. All credit options will be taken for a letter grade through the Department of Communications and Agricultural Education.
 
1-2 hours of undergraduate research credit
  • Attend KELP meetings and webinars
  • Complete additional readings as assigned
  • Work with Dr. Lauri Baker to develop a scholarly review of literature on an environmental/water related topic
3-4 hours of undergraduate research credit
  • Attend KELP meetings and webinars
  • Complete additional readings as assigned
  • Work with Dr. Lauri Baker to develop an environmental/water related research project
  • Complete the research project data collection
  • Complete and introduction related to the research project
 
4-6 hours of undergraduate research credit
  • Attend KELP meetings and webinars
  • Complete additional readings as assigned
  • Work with Dr. Lauri Baker to develop an environmental/water related research project
  • Complete the research project data collection
  • Write a scholarly paper about the research project (25-30 pages including introduction, review of literature, results, discussion, conclusion, and references)
  • Submit the paper to a conference or journal with help from Dr. Baker
